Teens age 12-16 "danced for Donna". A community fundraiser for a local family. Pizza, treats, DJ, and games entertained the kids all night long!

At Redford Township's Oktoberfest, the Jaycees ran a Cutest Baby contest, with 4 winner's receiving their choice of a Target Gift Card or Savings Bond. Pictured are some of the winning cuties!

The Redford Jaycees adopt the corner of 5 Mile and Beech Daly and help the Goodfellows raise money to ensure that no child is without a Christmas!

This was a free event sponsored by the Jaycees, area businesses and municipalities brought in cool trucks so the kids (and parents) could hop in, honk the horns and check them out up close! Even Clifford the Big Red Dog and Sparky the Fire Dog stopped in!

2nd Annual Halloween open house for kids 10 and under. It has been a very succesful event for us.

We have "twinned" with a JCI chapter from Sri Lanka - Gampaha (much like a sister city) and share news and information as well as learn from each other. Our President and IDVP met the President of their chapter in Washington DC to sign the twinning agreement and exchange a few gifts.

This was an event that took place in April and May of 2008. It was designed to teach members about houseplant care and how to prep and plant an outdoor garden.

The Jaycees bring the circus to Redford! This is one of our larger projects and fundraisers. It usually comes to town in early August at Belle Creek Park. It's always a great show enjoyed by all!

The Jaycees brought back the once well known Lawn Mower Drill Corp to the annual Memorial Day parade, which heads down Beech Daly Rd. the weekend after Memorial Day in Redford Twp.

Annual event, we close off 6 Mile Rd. between Kinloch and Beech Daly, the Jaycees sponsor a costume contest for the kids and area businesses set up tables or booths to pass out candy for the kids! It's a well received event for the community.
